How we handle your information

Process serving involves sensitive personal and case data. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. We treat your information with the same care we treat your case.

What we collect

When you submit a service request or upload documents, we collect the contact and case information you provide — your name, email, phone, firm, case type, island, case number, party details, and the legal instrument to be served. We collect only what is needed to perform the service and prepare the affidavit.

How we use it

Your information is used solely to confirm jurisdiction, quote and assign the serve, locate the party, complete service to statute, and produce the signed affidavit of service. We never sell, rent, or share your data for marketing purposes.

How we store it

Intake records are stored in a secured database with access restricted to authorized administrative staff. Uploaded legal documents are held in private storage — not publicly linkable — and can only be retrieved through time-limited, signed access.

Who can see it

Only Westside Process Servers administrative staff and the assigned server working your case can view your intake and documents. Access is role-controlled; no public or unauthenticated visitor can read intake records.

How long we keep it

We retain intake records and supporting documents for the period needed to complete service, defend the affidavit if challenged, and meet any recordkeeping requirements — typically several years — then securely delete or anonymize them.

Your choices

You may request a copy of the information you submitted, ask us to correct it, or request deletion when no legal hold applies. Contact us at intake@westsideprocesshi.com or (808) 457-8133 to make any of these requests.

Our Commitment

Confidential by design.

Every intake is treated as privileged client information. Documents are stored privately, access is role-restricted, and we retain records only as long as needed to complete and defend the service. If you have a question about how your data is handled, we will answer it directly.
